I love this quote from Finding Nemo. It’s from the part where Dory is trying to cheer up Marlin and tell’s him when life’s got you down you’ve gotta just keep swimming. It works for me because I think with this optimism, and when shit goes wrong in my life I grow from the negative, I just keep swimming. I also am the “Dory” fish of my friend group and family. Plus this movie is a classic from my childhood. Now, when I feel like all hope is lost, I can look down and see in my handwriting, never to give up, just keep swimming.
I wrote out the tattoo myself. It was done at East Coast Tattooing & Body in Providence, RI.
